What was special about the first time the couple saw each other?
“ Like so many of our couples this year, Michelle and Brandi were forced to postpone their wedding by about six months, so by the time the second date rolled around they were READY! They chose to do a first look prior to their ceremony and Brandi was full of slightly nervous, yet incredibly excited anticipation waiting for Michelle to come down, like she’d been waiting for that very moment for six months. They were so in those moments together, as though they were the only ones there and it was the sweetest thing to witness!”
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“Instead of being escorted down the aisle by a family member, Michelle and Brandi chose to walk down their aisle together. I’ve seen this done a few times over the years (I considered it for my own wedding!) and have loved it every single time. It seems such a poignant reminder that marriage is walking side-by-side with your partner through life!”
What was the couple’s session like?
“In a word, GORGEOUS! Beautiful couple’s portraits were a priority for them so we snuck out of their reception for a half an hour around sunset for a portrait session on the beach. Because we had done all of their formal portraits earlier in the day, we were able to focus that time just on them!”
