If you’ve ever dreamt of running away to elope on a gorgeous white sand beach, the Gulf Coast of Florida and Alabama might just be the perfect place to do it. It doesn’t get much better than our warm aqua water, sugar white sand, and cotton candy sunsets of Gulf State Park and I can’t think of prettier music to walk down the aisle to than the sound of gently rolling waves. Jamie and Josh came all the way from Tennessee to Gulf Shores, Alabama to get married on the beach at Gulf State Park and I was thrilled to spend the evening with them, and their friends and family. I have had a number of intimate weekday weddings this summer and it is always a treat to be able to spend more time creating beautiful portraits of my couples, but even more so when it is a couple unafraid to let go and really be themselves in front of the camera. Authentic moments will forever be my favorite and these two high school sweethearts were so clearly completely, adorably head-over-heels in love. Such a joy to photograph!
