Margaret-Anne and Matt’s 5eleven wedding was a heck of way to close out the 2016 season! The wedding was classic, tasteful, traditional, and FUN. They were married in the sanctuary at Christ Church in downtown Pensacola, a stunning church with rich colored walls and gold leaf. Margaret-Anne’s custom silk gown was incredibly elegant (and you KNOW how I feel about a long cathedral veil), and Matt looked handsome in his classic black tuxedo (complete with American flag socks!). After the ceremony, the bridal party (and all 350 guests!) moved a few blocks south down Palafox to one of our very favorite venues, 5eleven Palafox. Their guests enjoyed the historic white brick space for cocktails and apps before moving into the huge custom tent for dinner and dancing. The décor was all classic white and ivory, with tall floral arrangements and candles in all directions. My favorite part of this wedding was the way this couple (Bama graduates and diehard fans!) incorporated their love for their school. From the fight song playing (and EVERYONE knew the words!), to passing out stadium dogs as the late-night snack, to the tiny Big Al elephant mascot peeking out the back of their gorgeous cake – this Pensacola wedding had so many fun and personal elements that it felt personal and really ABOUT Margaret-Anne and Matt.
