Marie and Allen traveled all the way from Grenada (where Allen attends school) to have an amazing Miramar Beach wedding celebration on New Year’s Eve. Marie looked absolutely amazing in her backless sheath dress and long veil. Allen, one of the kindest souls I’ve ever worked with, looked quite dapper himself. Though the elements (overcast, breezy and chilly with a slight drizzle of rain) barely cooperated for the outdoor beach ceremony, the love between Marie and Allen brightened the atmosphere and warmed the hearts of their family and friends. The wind and rain simply couldn’t keep these two from smiling! The couple chose the Embassy Suites hotel to host their reception where the bridal party, especially, made their mark on the dance floor. Rather than having a traditional wedding cake, they decided to celebrate with cannolis brought in all the way from Gruttadauria Bakery, Rochester, New York. The speeches from the bride and groom’s longtime friends were very heartfelt and funny keeping everyone in the room at full attention. During the grand exit, I’m sure that everyone within blocks of the hotel could hear the loud honking from those crazy New Year’s blow horns that were crazily out of control celebrating the wonderful send off. Congratulations, Marie and Allen!
