Maura and David just might be the nicest, funniest couple I’ve ever met. They chose to have their wedding on a Monday (which seems to be the start of a new trend this year) at the beautiful St. Michael’s Basilica in downtown Pensacola. It was obvious how in love David was with his bride when the waterworks started up as he gazed at her walking down the aisle in her simple and elegant gown with her father. Maura couldn’t quite keep it together either. She even tried to kiss David right after her dad passed her off, which I thought was pretty amazing, and everyone chuckled. As the wedding party was announced in to the beautifully decorated reception at 5eleven Palafox, the couple went in to enjoy a wonderfully extended cocktail hour with their guests. The respect and obvious appreciation they had for everyone attending was lovely and encouraged all to have a great time while attending. During the first dance, the couple was smiled and laughed the entire time. Maura had already expressed earlier in the day that she didn’t think she was a good dancer, but the energy between the two had her floating flawlessly across the dance floor.
Maura and David were absolutely lovely to work with and so thoughtful to everyone in their presence. It’s always encouraging to be around others who have such a soft and positive outlook on life. The great thing about these two becoming one is that all the positivity, laughter and fun they share is going to be multiplied. I’m just glad I got to be a part of it.
