What made the wedding venue special?
Their courthouse ceremony had so many friends and family members in attendance that they were spilling out into the hallway to watch the ceremony! When Tabitha and Jason made their exit from the courthouse one of the security guards told us he had never seen so many guests at a courthouse ceremony – it was pretty special!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
They chose a color “theme” of red, white, and blue, but that theme wasn’t limited to just their attire or decor. They asked all of their guests to all dress in red, white, and blue as well! It was the first time I had seen that and I loved how beautifully coordinated everyone was!
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Tabitha wore the most amazing, off white cocktail dress and fabulous red strappy heels. She looked so chic and adorable!
What was the couple’s session like?
It started to rain minutes before we were supposed to start their portraits, so instead of trying to wait it out we drove around the corner to our studio space and did their couple’s session on our beautiful covered porches! I love our studio, and the opportunity to photograph a bride and groom session there was such a treat!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
They held their reception onboard the Portofino I and it was beautifully decorated, but my favorite detail was unexpected – DOLPHINS!! They jumped and played in the wake behind the boat for what seemed like an hour, and it was such a fun addition to their reception!
