Autumn is, hands down, my favorite season. I love the way the light begins to change as the sun shifts in the sky and waking up one morning to a crispness in the air that wasn’t there the day before. I love the family dinners that linger over long tables, football games with friends, and the return of sweaters and boots. And I really, really love autumn weddings. Jessica and Kyle’s wedding and reception embodied so many of the things that make it my favorite time of year – beautiful warm light, rich colors, Thanksgiving with family and friends (my favorite holiday to host at home), and of course, football! The Lee House was the absolutely perfect venue for their intimate al fresco ceremony and reception, and Supposey did an amazing job creating stunning fall inspired florals full of deep burgundies, warm rust and gold tones, and candles everywhere. I loved how warm and cozy everything felt and I was thrilled to be the person to photograph it all for them.
