Jordan and Denny’s Live Oak Plantation wedding was, in a word, perfection and one I had been excited about for months. Our studio has photographed several Live Oak weddings, but this was the first opportunity I personally have had to photograph a wedding at this incredible venue and it didn’t disappoint.
It is hard to say what the prettiest location on the sprawling property is – the oak tunnels are gorgeous and the Cotton House is positively stunning, but the lakeside ceremony site (complete with a family of ducks!) is so charming and the newly finished bridal suite is absolutely beautiful. I think what makes this place SO special though, are the amazing people who run it. Donna, Laura, and Kennedy were never far and happy to help with whatever we needed (Laura showed us all the best spots and chauffeured us all around the property for portraits!). In fact, every staff member we came into contact with greeted us with a smile and offer of assistance if we needed it. It is so clear that they pour their hearts and souls into every event they host and I can’t wait for the next Live Oak wedding on my calendar (we have a few on the studio calendar this year!).
Jordan and Denny, thank you both for trusting us to photograph your wedding!! I can’t imagine a more perfect day and I am so excited for you to see your pictures at this gorgeous venue. It was truly incredible!!
