What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“I LOVED Elizabeth’s wedding band stack!! It was so modern and unique, and truly a set I had never seen before!”
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
“Elizabeth’s dress was STUNNING. The lace was so different and almost art deco inspired, and with just enough sparkle!”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“The weather was perfect through the end of their ceremony, but as happens in Florida from time to time, a huge storm rolled in over the water at the time we were scheduled to do their family and couples portraits. Elizabeth and Mathis were so great about it though and just rolled with the unexpected weather. A few days after the wedding Elizabeth’s sweet mom emailed us to schedule a day after session for them, so they could have their sunset beach portraits and I love how they ended up with two completely different looks in their portraits as a result!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“The weather forced the outdoor reception they had planned inside for a little while and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoy themselves (and laugh a little bit at the situation!) regardless of the change – it was so awesome to see their friends dancing in the living room like that had been the plan all along!”
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
“So much joy!! Elizabeth has the most amazing smile – at the end of the night I realized that they hadn’t stopped smiling all day and neither had we!”
