What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
“In a perfect world, we try to meet all of our brides and grooms in person before the wedding day, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes people live out of town and we meet day of (which is perfectly fine)! I arrived at the historic New World Inn in downtown Pensacola jumping for joy knowing I was about to meet the couple. When I met the two of them, they were so dang happy – the two didn’t seem nervous whatsoever. Lauren and Mike were chill, and completely laid back. No one was running around stressed or upset – everyone was just happy. Just happy.”
What was the couple’s session like?
“Downtown Pensacola offers some beautiful locations for weddings, one being Palafox Wharf Waterfront. Right near the water, it features a beautiful green lawn, all making for the perfect setup for couple’s portraits. The sun was glowing (I mean it was golden hour) and then Lauren and Mike worked the camera. They giggled, cuddled, and fabulously tickled each other. The both of them kept cracking jokes making everything just perfect.”
Was there an exceptional vendor?
“I have to say Sharon, the mother of the bride had her hands in everything, and was just on top of it all. It was as if she herself had been planning weddings all her life. She was amazing and I know Lauren was so thankful to have had her mom help her plan the best day of her life. Christine, the owner of Ella Floral Event and Design, was exceptional. The flowers, the decor, the detail everything was on point. The reception was breathtaking when you walked in and just was gorgeous. Another vendor who killed the day was Nancy’s Catering and Events. They served a plated dinner to all the guests and their presentation was beautiful (not to mention the food was bomb).”
Why was the stationery suite so exceptional?
“Can you say velvet? The designs and aesthetic of their invitation suite was phenomenal, every tactile person’s dream; and such a classic design. Did I mention the back of the invitation was velvet y’all? Velvet.”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“Bubbles?! Yes… bubbles bubbles bubbles!!!! Give me all the bubbles!”
